Not your normal choice when you pop in to the local garage. A 16 Ton 360 JCB Digger. A 13 Tonne Dennis or Scania 82 Fire Engine. A 10 tonne, 14 foot high, 31 foot long Leyland Atlantean Double Decker Bus. Which one do you choose to take for a spin? Of course, before taking control of one of these huge vehicles you will receive a familiarisation breifing from an experienced instructor who will remain at your side to keep you right for the challenges ahead. Some of these challenges may include slaloms, roundabouts, reversing your vehicle into coned areas plus other options depending on the vehicle choice you make. Driving one of these vehicles requires concentration and skill and our instructors will be there to help you experience the drive of a lifetime. This experience is available Wednesdays to Saturdays throughout the year. You must be at least 17 years old and weigh no more than 18 stone. Height must be between 5' 2" and 6' 4". You must have a full driving licence (which will have to be produced on the day) and you must be able-bodied. You should ress warmly and comfortably and wear flat-soled shoes. On the day your experience will last for around an hour and three quarters including a briefing, an hour in the vehicle, a debrief and certificate presentation. Your driving experience is exclusive to you and your instructor. However, you may bring alon friend and family to watch. Spectators are welcome and there is a clubhouse where tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Well behaved supervised dogs are permitted and must be kept on a lead at all times. (RatingsWorld)
