Authors/Performers ------------------ AC/DC;
Product Description ------------------- Most critics complain Back in Black, the album AC/DC recorded after the death of their original lead screamer Bon Scott, is ridiculously juvenile, obvious, snickering, bludgeoning, derivative, single-minded about sex and booze, a big cartoon. All true, of course, and--on rock 'n' ragers like "What Do You Do For Money Honey," "You Shook Me All Night Long," and the title track--all great. As Scott's replacement Brian Johnson reminds us, loud and crunchy, no-holds-barred "rock and roll ain't noise pollution...it makes good, good sense." Never trust anyone who refuses to drink domestic beer, laugh at the Three Stooges, or crank Back in Black. --David Cantwell

Barely need to say much here, others seems to agree, but this is my fave album ever and seems the same holds for thousands of others. If you've never heard it - just buy it, you'll love it too.;

I once saw a review that called this album "pretentious." Not sure how you might come to that conclusion, as this is some hard rockin', a$$ kickin', riff driven, groovy rock n' roll. It's about as unpretentious as you can get. There's not a weak track on here, and thank God AC/DC didn't call it quits with the death of vocalist Bon Scott, as this album is, along with Appetite for Destruction, one of two must have albums from the 1980s. A few years past its silver anniversary, this album still sounds fresh and wonderful, and if you can't have a great time listening to this...well, I pity you.;

Back In Black is the greatest rock album of all time.. And it's the biggest selling rock album of all time with around 44 million or so in sales!! This is what you call a "killer with no filler" album because there are no bad songs on BIB!! Still after almost 27 years when it was released, it STILL sounds fresh and great. The same can't be said for most albums that came out at the same time!! New generations keep picking up on this album and that's one of the reasons it keeps selling and always will....If you like rock and roll you should already have this gem!! If not, then pick it up and start rocking!!! Long Live AC/DC!!!;
